I'm not a particular fan of Japanese. but when you keep a car for ten years and it cost less than $1000 TOTAL maintenance (including all wearables).. one develops a grudging respect.
Frankly I quite the look of the early 90's 9000, and they seem to be substantially cheaper used than a similar year Japanese car, a bargain actually and quite sad if you were the poor slob that paid full MRSP for one new. As for rebuilds, theyare not cheap, the quoted price is $4500 for a full rebuild from a reputable shop (with a 40 yr history) and a 3 yr unconditional warranee. Definitely not mail order.
