What meant was if you have the possibility to just loan one other unit just to confirm that the unit is the problem.(I still guess that it).
Then if so I'll try to explain what to do. Without schematics and/or pictures it is a little bit tricky.The repairs I have done is due to "Knowhow by experiment" and a long time working with electronics.
The AD converter(placed in the control unit) is a part of the tempsensors signal/dataprocessing.
What you do is you take the analog signals from the sensors and convert it
to a seriell digital signal(AD converter) and put in to the dataprocessor, which using the preinstalled program in the memorycicuit and hence you have a circuit to decide what to do with heater/mixing/recirc.flaps.
It is either a faulty AD IC or damaged printed circuit board or both.
So you just go for a loan so far
