I have a Saab 9000 and my ex-wife had a Celica. Both cars are expensive when they break, but the Celica rarely ever broke. I think it lost a heater core and this cost about 1100.00 to tear the dash down at the dealer(don'
t quote me on the price - it was a while ago). Other than that - I don't remember the Celica ever breaking. My Saab seems to develop problems monthly - some are easy fixes, some are not. Parts are expensive. I love the Saab and put up with it, but it is not easy love. I think the older 900's are a less expensive to keep on the road(I had an 84 turbo for about 11 years), but they also require tinkering. I do a lot of my own repairs(and this saves some $$), but I have limited facilities and have to pay for large repairs.
