I have had trouble getting anyone to flush the transmission fluid of my '90 9000T. The closest I got to getting it done successfully was at a Jiffy Lube, but the machine (tran tech, or something like that) did not really work properly. It is supposed to pump fresh fluid into the transmission through the T. fluid cooler outlet line while it receives dirty fluid from the cooler inlet. The transmission pushed dirty fluid out, but didn't seem to suck any fresh fluid in from the tran tech machine, so the guy who did it added fluid through the dipstick opening. The dirty fluid would come out for awhile after starting the engine, but then flow would stop until the engine was restarted. Why didn't it work properly? I think they had the inlets and outlets done correctly (dirty line was the line going into the top of the radiator). Did air in the fresh fluid line "block" the flow? The transmission operates fine after the flush and is cleaner than I have ever seen it.
