Well ?
I have had fuel pump issues with my Saabs a 86 and 87 9000T
The pump is located in the rear of the car remove the spare tire cover.
It's located just forward. Note the car has two fuel pumps ?
A primary and second dary there pretty easy to remove. Then you can connect
two wires to your battery if the motor spins its good. The secondairy
is used to prime a coffee size canister that feeds the main pump.
Possibly to avoid problems when cornering hard wen the gas tank is low.
I had a very noisy pump high pitched very annoying noise at iddle.
It was the main pump bearings, Picked one up for 50$ at a junk yard.
The secondairy pump went on my other car The car ran intermittantly shitty ? Then I filled the gas tank and she ran fine the she ran crappy after
I got below 1/3 of a tank. Your problem sounds eletricl to me.
If you turn on your ignition you should hear your fuel pump spin up and pump fuel, if not check your fuel pump fuse sounds like you have tried this. I would remove your glove box easly removed be a few torex screws.
then test the wiring to the rear of the fuses ? Have you replaced any thing
installed a new stereo played with any thing ? If your ignition switch
works it should be a simple process of elimination. Also there are relays
in back of the glove box swap a few that are the same I think one is for the pump. I your trunk cover is gone or damaged and you had somthing heavy it could have damaged the fuel pump connectors. If you replace the pump replace the 10$ check valve that connects the fule line to the pump,
this holds pressure to the line to the fuel pressure gauge and the car
will start quickly. Hope this helps Dave.
