strange fault after changing head gasket

Since changing head gasket my aero takes longer to start when cold and when does fire uptakes a few seconds to run smoothly(not missfiring)and reach idle speed.I also notice idle speed is slightly lower than before,it's now about normal.The only problem was car ran with plug off inlet manifold for a while when i forgot to connect it back on ,but car runs great otherwise.Hope you can help.cheers.
