this has happened 3 times now, and maybe snow related. After driving for an hour on a snowy back country road, when i got back on the highway the steering wheel was shaking rather violently as if I had all of a sudden lost wheel weights and the wheels were grossly out of balance, But it eventually cleared up,and cardrove fine for a month. Yesterday I headed out on a long trip to Cape Cod and when I got on the highway, the violent shaking was present, and after 5 minutes cleared up (no snow on road this time). Then again today, after driving along a snow filled dirt road, the shaking was back and cleared up after maybe 10 miles. I have absolutely no idea what in the world is going on!! Suggestions are warmly received -thanks!
