I had a 87 9000 turbo a few years ago and it got wrecked. I have missed it ever since. I am looking to buy one from the same era. I bought it for 3000$ and it had a 103k when I bought it. I think I got a good deal. I'm a poor grad student still and I am looking to stay in the same range. Any tips or thoughts about buying older high milage 9000's? Are there particular models or years that should be avoided? I realize I should look for a clean one, with complete regular service records and have read the buying a used saab 9000 FAQ. I am looking for advice on whether you have found the saab network, dealers, independent owners to be the best source for finding a good one. I also would appreciate any info your greater experience would have to offer.
