Just changed the front motor mount (under the water pump) on my 93 9kt, thought I'd share a couple things. I read 2 writeups - Townsends, which said I should unscrew the back motor mount as well (checked, it was okay), and Haynes manual, which said unscrew the front, and drop the sub-frame by unscrewing 6 bolts. I followed the Haynes, never found all 6 bolts but the two right next to the mount seemed to be enough. Put the car on jackstands, lifted the engine with a jack under the sump (2x4 between for protection), pulled out the old mount, put in the new one (used a longer 2x4 to pry the engine up a little bit to get the new one in). Total time: 3 hours. If I did it again: 1.5 to 2 hours. The bolt on the engine mount that's under the movement limiter was quite tricky to get at, one writeup said to use a 2 foor long ratchet extension and get at it from above the engine, I managed to use about a 3-inch extension and get it reaching from below. Ratchet with no extension, or ratchet with 6-inch extension didn't work, but the 3-inch worked fine. The car feels smoother now and my wallet's not anywhere near as empty as if I'd taken it to the shop (though my hands are greasier).
