The old bushings need to be pressed out, and the new ones pressed in. As you'll notice, one bushing is pressed into the 'dogbone' part that can be easily removed. The other bushing fits into the bracket that bolts to the engine.
Removing the dogbone part and bringing it to a shop is pretty straightforward. The bracket on the engine is a bit more involved. I used the tool that 879KT mentioned, and it worked for me. Basically, it consists of metal sleeves and a long threaded rod. This allows you to press on the metal of the bushing and press it out. You do the 'dogbone' on a bench, and the bracket on the engine in the car.
Removal is pretty straightforward. Installation can be a bit tricky. Note the position of the rubber bits now, and try and install in the same way. The engine moves forward and back, so you want the mount with the flex parts to the left and right for the rear bushing, and top and bottom for the front bushing. If you're a little off, it's OK.
When installing the new bushings, I recommend you turn them down a little. They don't need to be a force fit in. If they fit in by hand, they're not going anywhere. Stick a long bolt through the bushing, stick it in an electric drill, and (while wearing an insulated glove!!!) hold some sandpaper or scotchbrite on the outside while you spin the bushing with the drill. You want to make that surface nice and smooth so it slides in nice.
