I frequent http://www.bimmer.org/ just to see what's going on, and yes, they do have "mine is bigger than yours" posts, and more often over there than at Saabnet.
I also frequent AudiWorld/Zone and they are a bit better but not as good as it used to be. I used to own a couple of Audis (you know, the unintended acceleration things), the Audi mailing list at the time was one of the best I've seen. The Porche BB, in particular, the 928 BB is also excellent. Come to think of it, a 928 is kinda like a Saab, a bit of an outcast :-), but cost a hell lot more to keep.
