First prob: Next time your squealer starts place thumb over the little round grill below your clock, its the cabin air sampling fan inlet. Your sampling fan grows up and learns to talk when properly aged. Actually the fan bearings are squalling. There is an abundance of discussion here on it. Look at the past postings which will describe how to remove it and oil it with a good light household 3 in 1 oil. Or you can have fun scaring the bloomers off of you passengers by freaking when it happens next time and playing it up. #2 prob: intermittents are hard to find. Possible auto trans start interlock switch was not made. Most cars will let you start in P or N. Intermittent could be in any point in the start chain. Again, look at postings here for ideas, but unless you have a voltmeter or test light and know how to use it at the time of a failure you're shooting in the dark. For my survival I just purchased a 9K electrical book for $40 from dealer as he will be closing this year. An example of Big Brother GM screwing the small dealer. (His dad hooked up with SAAB as #6 or so dealer. Gibson Motors.
