If a small leak can be fixed by barsleaks, why spends $150 or more for a new heater core? Most heater core leaks start real small and can be fixed darn near permanently with a yearly dose.
'88 9KT original heater core, no leaks. I'll be damed if I have to get my hands in there to pull the core out,,,hard enough properly fitting heater hoses, unless I can rent a 6 year old with small arms (ok not;-)
