Which LEDs are you referring to? The ones in the radio, the equalizer, etc?
LEDs tend not to fail. Unless abused, an LED will last your lifetime and longer. My guess would be that the LEDs are fine, and it's just the connection that has gone bad.
The front panel on some of the Clarion radios come off. Not detachable, but they will come off (if you remove the radio) and you can clean the contacts. Given the choice between a solid state device and a connection between two pieces of metal pressing together, I'd bet 100 to 1 the problem is in the connection.
