... and you will have access. It is a bit of a job, but not a huge one. Once you have the top removed, it will feel like you can climb inside! This linkage came loose on my old '87 turbo. Check the link below. It might be a good idea to buy some new dash bulbs if you have some dim or blown ones as you could replace them at the same time.
