Bodywork & Radio Fault Finding

Recently I had my SAAB in at a body shop for some work (rear 1/4 panel left-side, rear bumper, right rear door) from a minor accident. Some interesting electrical issues have cropped up.
Upon driving my car home yesterday I discovered that my windows worked rather haphazardly (go down but not always up) and that the radio wouldn't turn on at all. Oddly enough, my key wouldn't turn the locking cylinder in the driver's door.
Today the windows and door lock work fine, but the radio still has no power. I checked the fuse and the antenna mast assembly; they're both fine. It's not the original factory Clarion radio, but rather another Clarion (from Crutchfields) that I put in myself (no amp, using factory speakers).
Any ideas on what could be killing the radio? Or certain things to look for in the course of fault finding? Is it possible to short the radio while doing work in the rear of the car? (they took the panels of the rear doors off) Perhaps it has something to do w/ the very thorough detailing they ran it through? Any ideas would be much appreciated, thanks.
Regards,
Eric
