Rear rotor replacement

I replaced the rear rotors, calipers and pads this weekend on my '88 9000 Turbo. The job went surprisingly well, considering the reason I replaced everything was because the car sat for so long before I bought it that the calipers were seized open with rust. My only problem was removing the Torx screw that holds the rotor (along with the stud). I rounded the Torx head on one side and couldn't budge the other side, even with lots of lubrication and heat. I ended up drilling the screws out, which worked fine. I don't think I stripped the threading when I drilled it out, so I could replace them if I knew what thread and size I need. I ended up outting the rotor back on without this screw. I figured the 10 mm stud opposite the screw along with the lug nuts do an adequate job holding the rotor on.
So I guess my questions are - I'm doing the fronts next, and any hints on getting these loose would be great. And does anyone know what I can do to replace the ones I've lost, or is it OK to just leave them out? I thought about re-tapping the thread to 1/4 - 20 and putting a 1/4 - 20 hex head screw in there which would be easier to get out than the Torx, but it needs to be flush with the rotor (or below), so I would need to shop around a bit.
Any ideas?
