I use the breaker bar method. First, start the car and pull out the fuel pump fuse - the engine will die. Then pull the center wire out of the spark coil. You DON'T want the car starting. Seat the socket on the bolt, and put the breaker bar on, hanging down. You don't have to wedge it - just set it up so it's about and inch or two in front of the lower A-arm. Turn the key once, quickly - you'll hear a thump. Get out, and make sure the socket is still seated, and repeat. Don't get lazy - get out each time to make sure the socket is seated properly - you don't want to risk rounding the bolt.
It can take a while - 10 or 20 whacks. But be patient. It works well.
Good luck!
