I to own the same car as you do, I to have had the same problem. I haven't fixed it yet but I know where it is coming from. At the clutch pedal, there's a rod that goes up and through to the engine bay. I noticed that this rod on my car had some surface rust on it. I then washed the car and looked to see water running from this area down into the car. It's real easy to see. If you look at pedal under the dash, find the connecting rod for it, look for rust or water at this junction. I hope this helps. Now if I could only figure out how to fix it. I think there should be a rubber stopper ther but, don't know what size? I know that the rod moves up and down so that only complicates me finding a good fix.
