BL will often fix leaky head gaskets, I'm told, although I've never had one. Or maybe I have and the BL I've used for years fixed it. Just make sure you replenish according to the instructions (once per year) and change coolant at least every two years (with a fresh bottle of BL).

As I've said many time before, using this stuff should be a standard procedure for any 9K owner, whether or not you have a cooling-system problem or bad head gasket. It'll stop most leaks, including the ubiquitous heater core maladies in 9K's; condition the cooling system; and lubricate the pump seal.

And once again for those who still haven't heard, it is installed in every new car produced by the Big Three and many other OEM's and won't clog cooling systems.
