....and I couldn't wait to get out of Syracuse either. Richard; SYRACUSE....yuck, no wonder you've found reason to drive out of town. Syracuse is my original home and probably has the worst bloody roads in the world. One trip (up from Northern Virginia where I now live) I managed to bottom out the 9K going through an intersection in the SW side. The SRS system has never been the same since and requires $250 in new parts to restore. (The SRS light which now stays illuminated reminds me that "Syracuse Really Sucks"). Some of the pavement irregularties are like stationary ocean white caps. The pot holes are actually open pit mines. On another trip in the winter, my lovely 9K was sandblasted with a mixture of sand and rocksalt. The windscreen has the pitting and scars to prove it. No more! Further road trips to the home town are done in rental cars. The cost of keeping any car in Syracuse has got to be astronomical.
Indeed this a great board. I could ill afford my SAAB but for it. In fact I sold my last one here and bought my current one here. I brag about us. No other make has this much user support that I know of.
