the factory. I knew there was something slimy about that sales person when they told me that all BMWs in the US are now coming with Synthetic oil from the factory. Gee, I hope my car makes it through the warrenty period with the crappy synthetic oil its using. Gee, I hope I don't have complete and total engine failure because of synthetic oil. Ya right, I have been using synthetic oil in my saab and now my bmw for years, I have only experienced improvements in the engines performance. When I sold my last saab with a little over 200,000 miles on it, even the dealer said it sounded better than when the car was new. Sythectic oil does not cause, oh nevermind. not worth my time
