Before I bought my car, It went into the shop because the trany would not engage. The person that it was brought to was a very questionable one indeed. Now, I dont know if I am overreacting to a dumb question or not. My theory is that he swapped out trannys for a non trurbo tranny. Is the gearing at all different? Would it make a difference? To help answer my question I have another question. Lets say you are going 115 MPH, what is your RPMs. (my car is a 91 9000 turbo by the way) When I am going that fast I am almost out of RPMs. I know this car is rated for 152, well thats what I read. But am I to believe that in 1500 RPMs I am to gane 35 MPH? Is this right? Please if anyone can help me, let me know something. I dont want to build some super car that is gonna blow a non turbo tranny. And I also dont want to race if I can only go 125 before fuel cutout. I dont know the numbers on the tranny, but I can look tonight and post them tomorrow if that will help any. Please some one help!!
