Jeff has it pretty much right.
The issue isn't the TCS/ABS computer. All the ABS system does is send out speed pusles to the TCS system, and apply brakes if so instructed. That usually isn't the problem in the TCS.
The TCS controls the throttle, and that's the problem. If the TCS detects a problem, it drops into 'limp home' mode. In a manual tranny car, there is a cable between the gas pedal and the throttle, but it can't give you full throttle. In the case of an automatic tranny car, the throttle is full 'drive by wire'.
If you want to kill it totally, you need to replace the throttle body with one from a non-TCS equipped car. You'll also have to retrofit an accelerator pedal and cable assembly, too.
TCS isn't usually that bad - if you have TCS problems, there are ways to fix them by cleaning contacts and such. Only in very few cars is it 'unfixable'.
Good luck!
