1989 9k turbo I just bought the car it has 115,000 miles on it. The chain is not makeing any noise. Is there a average life of timeing chains in these cars. Would the torque of the tensinor tell me if chain is OK. If thats the case what is the torque on tensinor ? Is it OK to re torque existing chain ? Or would you just replace it. This is my first Saab very nice car Id like to get it right. On the other hand Id hate to replace chain if its good for another 30 or 40k THANKS any tips would be much appreciated Paul
