I would recommend Madisound Speaker components, but as you said you want to get this within a week, you probably will be getting at a local retail store vs. mail order.
In that case, I can recommend a few brands that you may find locally. Boston Acoustics makes some great speakers, as does Infinity.
Frankly, I don't buy speakers at retail, so I am somewhat out of the loop as far as what is currently on the market (even though I work for a high end home/car audio/video dealer!). I prefer to put my own systems together, especially for car, since they end up being so simple.
If you can wait for mail order, you will without a doubt get more bang for your buck through Madisound. The reason is, speakers are one of the products with the highest markup in the industry. Typically 50%, sometimes more. And, don't forget, that the vendor/manufacturer has marked the price up to the dealer to make money as well. By going to Madisound, you are eliminating at least on middleman. So, you're getting at least twice the speaker for the same price, or the same speaker for half price.. :)
The dash speakers are indeed 4", with a 2" tweeter, but really any automotive sized tweeter (2" overall diameter or less) will work just fine. In the simplest system, you could havea 4" woofer with no crossover, and a single capacitor inline with the (+) terminal of the tweeter. I ran my system this was for a while and was quite pleased. Most stock systems operate this way. Depending on the particular woofer and tweeter however, it may not be that great an option. I have fiberglass cone woofers, which can be harsh in the top end, and my tweeters don't handle quite as much power as I'd like, so my system definitely sounds better with a more proper crossover (which is still only a few more components).
Anyway! Hope this helps.. Here's a pic. of my front setup. Link to more stuff below.
