These guys are better at marketing than engineering.
Freeze12 is 20% HCFC142b and 80% HFC134a, at least if their input data to the EPA is correct.
It's a blend that must be refilled as a liquid...as the charge leaks out to where the system must be refilled, it has has to be evacuated and filled with a blend...no 'topping off' once a year to make up for minor leaks.
And while retrofitting to 134a, replace the expansion valve with one designed for 134a and replace the dryer.
