That's not a bad price, but unless you know the car like the back of your hand, I would have a mechanic look at it closely. The car is at or close to "major maintenance" cycle. I have a '90 9000T and I have done a lot of work in the 120-150K range. Here are the costly high risk items:
1) the usual Saab 9000 stuff- motor mounts, DI cassette, and heater core. Chances are they have all been replaced by now, but check. A Saab mechanic will know if they've been replaced with a quick look.
2) fuel pump
3) suspension wear parts- ball joints, lower control arm bushings. Check the tire wear for alignment/suspension wear. My front tires starting wearing on the inside when suspension parts wore.
4) crank pulley, seal, and tensioner
5) trim- headliner, and visors. Sounds cheap/minor, but it's not.
6) electrical- radio, radiator fan relay, wiper/washer switch. I will never buy anything made by Clarion. There are lights on the dash that are quirky, too.
7) turbo- bypass valve

As for the original A/C system, yes it is a freon (R-12) system. The conversion requires new drier, expansion valve, and seals at minimum. The remaining freon in the system must be evacuated with a vacuum pump and recycled.

I'm not trying to scare you off, just be aware of reasons why the car might not be such a bargain before you buy.
