I lived in DC/No. Va. for a number of years and used most of the Saab specialists. My opinion of the best is Paul Hooper at Town Center Saab in Reston. Expect to pay a lot for quality service. I have also used S&S on several occasions, mostly because they provide a loaner car. S&S is competent, but also expensive. They will also tear your car apart looking for things that are wrong, some of which will not be critical repairs. There is a place in Fairfax called Oskuie which is not quite as expensive, but perhaps not quite as good. Having said that, I had a number of things done at Oskuie and did not have any particular problems. There is a Sweedish guy in Herndon who has a shop called SV something. I called him a couple of times, but he could never get me in. There is also a place in Springfield which supposedly has a good reputation.
