There is a flap which controls whether air which has been heated by the heater core goes into the passenger compartment. The flap is controlled by a thin wire attached to a small plastic arm. Both the wire and the arm can become disattached or break.
Under the hood there is a large plastic cover at the back. Remove this and you will see a large black round object directly in the middle of the "aquariam". This is the housing for the blower motor. Look on the left side of the blower motor housing toward the back of the car to where the housing becomes a square shape. There is an yellowish/off-white plastic arm sticking out of the housing. There should be a wire attached to that arm. If there isn't and you can see if hanging, reattach it. If not, there is some kind of kit you can buy to repair this, but I have not direct experience with that.
