Boots & hidden damage.

I had a few of weird things happen over the last week or two. First I bought a new serpentine belt for my 90 9kt and found that I needed outer CV boot on the Passenger side. So I bought Two at my local dealer. On the way home some cowboy with his tailgate down in a pickup rolled back at a stop sign and crunched my bumper,(or so I thought). It was within minutes of the end of my lunch break, in a hurry, I got out , looked the car, saw no visible damage and told the clown OK go along. Later that night I noticed that the headlight was aimed at the ground about 20' short of where I would like it. It turned out that he had pushed the headlight in and demolished the plastic bucket that holds it to the car. These were new lights with less than two months in the car. Thanks to my packrat mentality I had not thrown the old ones out.
Then to top things off when I went to put the axle boot in, I found that they had given me two of the wrong boots. These were about 13mm too big in diameter at the outside end. Funny , but I always thought Saab boots were the same as long as it was a 9K. Obviously I am wrong but so is/was my dealer. A quick trip to Autozone (5:30PM Saturday) and I was back together but I am still going to get the right boots (return, swap, trade or whatever it takes ) . I know... long post but hey I haven't had anything to say for about four months until now...most of the time without a web connection.
