Thanks Bob,
A follow-up from my Saab dealer, West Island Saturn/Saab/Isuzu, advised no listing for the service bulletins indicated. It would appear that they are strictly USA. However they agreed to "look into it".
Meanwhile my mechanic checked and cleaned the auto box valve body assembly, reflushed the tranny and filled with fresh fluid again. This after having done @200 kilometers ago! Result: car delivered back with the SAME problem! I don't know yet if he put in the recommended additive as the car was delivered while I was out. Will follow up tonight.
Per previous posts: The problem in my case is still a sort of "whistle" come "honk" come "squeak", shifting up from 2nd to 3rd. It is not, in my case, temperature related and happens cold or hot. It does vary in volume, but this doesn't seem related to load. I'm very gentle on the tranny and let it shift up and down when it likes and never use the kick-down. Otherwise the trans works as well as any of them do. ('nuff said!)
Has anyone had experience with synthetic ATF? I use fully synth engine oil and grease and have had great success, especially in our climate in in Montreal. My 900 Sport has 340,000 kilometers and still runs sweetly on artifical juice. Hoping for same out of the 9000 but...
