Just did mine last week. Townsend's site suggested a bicycle pump connected to a screw on lid with threads matching the fluid resevior. I found a small plastic rubbermaid juice container at Target that had the same threads and a sealing ring. I drilled out the sip tube (slightly undersized to the pump hose) and pushed the hose into the hole. It helps to have a pump with a pressure guage (Target or K-mart). With the lid screwed onto the resevior, I was able to push about 10psi into the system and force the air out through a bleed tube at the bleed valve on the slave cylinder. Took all of 5 minutes and my pedal action is firm and smooth.
I tried using a vacuum type pump but it kept pulling air through the base of the valve.
Good luck
