The radiator fan comes on whenever the AC compressor kicks in. The AC compressor is disabled for the first 10 -15 seconds after the car is started to keep the load on the cold engine to a minimum. So 10 seconds or so after starting, the AC kicks on, which turns on the radiator fan. The AC cycles on and off, and the radiator fan follows it.
I assume the car has Automatic Climate Control (ACC) as it's a turbo. The ACC runs the AC all the time to keep the air dry, even if it doesn't use it for cooling.
Sound reasonable?
