Power amp replacement - 97 Aero

Just completed the job this weekend - easier than I thought!
I used a 4 x 50W RMS amp - plenty of power for normal listening levels.
If you're planning on doing the same, the following info might be useful:
1 Rectangular connector on amp unclips from one end and pivots off.
2 Choose an amp with variable gain so you can match levels - I think the pre-amp output is non standard.
3 I cut off the connector and used bullet connectors to join the input wires to phono leads to connect to the amp.
4 Attach all remaining wires direct to amp connectors.
3 Wiring is as follows (on my 97 Aero at least!):
INPUT (thin, twisted wires)
Right front (-)Blue
Right front (+)Red
Left front (-)Green
Left front (+)Brown
Right rear (-)Blue white
Right rear (+)Red white
Left rear (-)Green white
Left rear (+)Brown white
SPEAKERS (thicker separate wires)
Right front (-)Blue
Right front (+)Red
Left front (-)Green
Left front (+)Brown
Right rear (-)Blue white
Right rear (+)Red white
Left rear (-)Green white
Left rear (+)Brown right
Power 2 x thick red (CARE - don't mix up with red speaker wire!)
Ground 2 x thick black
Remote - yellow (used to switch amp on with head unit)
Only thing I'm unsure of is how interference proof the input leads are - might change these for proper phono leads all the way to the head unit.
Good luck!
Russ
