The Ongoing Fuel Cut-Off Saga

Hi Guys & Gals,
As some of you may recall, I had the APC module in my 94 Aero (the one stuck on the rad) replaced in the hope that it would cure my fuel cut-off problems (i.e., cutting out from over boosting). This seemed to fix it for a bit, but that may have just been because the battery was disconnected and the car was doing an adaptation. Too bad because it was an expensive experiment. I took the Aero back to the dealer last week and told him that I don't want it back until it's fixed. Anyway, the diagnostics demonstrated that it's overboosting by .2 bar or thereabouts, but it's an inconsistent problem, which makes him think that the ECM has drifted. Anyway the long and the short of it is that they're having a new ECM flown over from Sweden for mucho $$$. The good news of all this is that Lubrico is footing the bill. I won't go into detail, but it's safe to say that the initial cost of the warranty has been covered a few times over ;-) Now let's see if the ECM is really the culprit 8-\ My apologies if some of you are getting sick of reading about this problem, but I've appreciated your ideas and feedback.
The silver lining is that they've loaned my a nicely loaded 93 Turbo to boot around in while we wait for parts. Cool little car, but it has nothing an a 9000 Aero.
Cheers,
Bill
