Looking down on the engine you will find a small cylinder with a hose going in one side and a small rod coming out the other that goes behind the exhaust manifold and behind the turbo unit. The waste gate is an internal flap valve and attached to the other end of the rod at the actuator arm just below where the turbo flange bolts to the manifold. If you crawl under the car you will just barely see the waste gate actuating arm on the right side of the turbo unit. The wastegate valve can only be seen by removing the turbo unit. There will be a small clevis attachment and clip for the rod end and the pin on the wastegate actuator arm. There is no repair or maintainence recommended for this valve. Some adjustment can be made, if necessary, by adjusting the rod length - CAREFULLY!
