I have a 91 9000 CD non turbo with an auto and 140,000. I get 21-22 if I do a lot of highway (78-85 MPH) and 17-20 if mainly around town. Check the rubber CV joint boots. They seem to go bad about 110,000. If you catch them quickly you can just replace the boot have them repacked ($150)instead a new cv ($500). The other thing that tends to go bad about then is the direct ignition unit. Also make sure the auto trans (if equiped) has been and continues to be changed at least every 30,000. Other than that they're pretty bullet proof.
