fuel or the throttle butterfly isn't closing completely (-check rigging and adjustments) and you are afterburning. Or you have a leaking fuel pressure regulator failing and dumping fuel into the manifold at high vacuum. Or leaking injectors or and it goes on. Find the source of fuel into the engine. is fuel consumption ok?
Plug gap for you turbo would be in the neighborhood of 1.0 +0.0-0.2 mm
(.034-.039)inch but don't think this is your problem.
