to relate to the starter solenoid needing a ground through the armature to engage. When the starter motor is at rest the solenoid sees a ground through the brushes through the armature. when hot, the brushes tend to make poor contact and the solenoid does not engage. As the tarter motor cools down, the contact is restored and the starter comes to life.
Damian, down under, had mentioned this occurrence in hot aussie, in one of his posts.
Here is what plan to do this week end. The ford solenoid is $12.00
