The parking brake is easily adjusted. Jack the rear of the car and support with jackstands. You will see a round black plastic cap covering an access hole (about the size of a nickel) on the brake backing plate. Pop off this cap with a flatblade screwdriver. Inside is the adjuster bolt, use a hex or Allen key . The slightest turn goes a long way...so a little at a time. Check both sides.
