A minor alignment problem can show up as vibration at speed, because the tire will start to 'nibble'. Worn suspension parts, such as ball joints or suspension bushings can cause vibration at speed. If there is play in a bushing, forces can cause it to move, which changes the alignment slightly, which changes the force, which due to the play changes the alignment, and so on.
I had a high speed vibration that was cured when I renewed the A-arm bushings.
