I have opened a cover that has been siliconed there are small beads of the sealant attached inside but there was no evidense of it having broken off or lodged in the oil chamber. Any that may fall falls into the oil chamber would be caught by the filter before passing through the engine. I wouldn't worry about it unless you REALLY used excess amounts. I worked on one engine once where someone had used this stuff around the gasket on the oil pump and it was all over the place with evidence that lots of it had been ground off and circulated through the system. That DID concern me because it is possible to plug the cam lubricating passages.
