Seeing wire nuts around their installation bay is not a good sign..
Ask them what kind of guarantee they have on their work. Good shops will have a lifetime installation warantee, ie if anything goes wrong/bad, they'll fix it no charge.
Ask them if they have wiring diagrams and trim disassembly instructions for your car. You don't want your car to be the first one they've ever worked on, despite the fact that the 9000 is one of the easiest car stereos to work on.
You'd have to REALLY not know what you're doing to screw up a 9000 stereo installation, but hey.. All it takes is a few torx drivers, DIN tools to remove the stock stereo, and the usual wire cutters, crimpers, and connectors. As for adjusting the system properly, that's kinda up to you. I wouldn't trust someone else to adjust my system properly. And, even if you did trust someone else, one person's proper setup is horrible for another person. People just have different tastes and expectations, and that's cool..
Hope this helps.
Aaron
