Bob, you can get the Nivomat self-leveling shocks from someplace like Sobstory for around $300 each (that's what I did). The alternative is to get a set of rear springs from a hatchback model, replace your softer springs with the hatchback springs, and buy the normal shocks for around $100 each (Boge OE shocks). If you don't change the springs and use regular shocks, the rear end of the car will sag.
Expect a struggle when you try to separate the shocks from the axle.
