Been having major issues w/ dead car due to battery.
I did have the battery, starter and alternator tested to see how they're all working. The battery came back w/ an 85%, and the starter and alternator both came back fine (I've had the alternator tested 2X in the last 3 weeks and both results were good). The mechanic said that the battery should be operating closer to a 100% optimum. It isn't. It has been dead 3 times since my last posting (last Thursday). All 3 times it was dead, the car had only been left parked for a maximum of 12 hours (overnight + a few hours). UGH!
Since I'm out of town right now, I can't go to my regular mechanic who sold me the battery just last year. Should I just break down and buy a new battery where I am currently???? Or should I take it to a car "electrician" to test if it's been subjected to excessive drainaige due to something electrical?
