pumping. 1800 is not above the threshhold where max pumping occurs. You do not get above base boost with the T25 compressor until approximately 2400 rpm the TD04 will get up a head of steam at about 2200 both above 1800 so I really don't know where your chip person is getting 1800. He must be figuring to adapt at the modulation stage. I have never tried this but there are alot of factors that could interfere with this accomodation. An automatic is a lot harder to load than a stick car third may unload your engine too much. but if you keep it on the floor above 2800 Automatic, 2500 manual you should do ok Get six of your buds to come along - that will make the mother pump!
