I open the slave nipple at least a quarter turn. The bicycle tube is pressurized to about 4 inches (diameter, that is!) Fluid always flows. Pumping the pedal seems to increase the amount of air showing in the hose, although the manual doesn't list pumping as a requirement. Could it be that your master somehow blocks the fluid? I've had no problems with many bleeds and several masters. I've not tried sucking at the slave nipple because it seems to me that air may be sucked in around the loose threads and give a false indication of air in the system - but I could be wrong. Does anyone have an opinion on this?
