TCS AGAIN longish

My wife was driving the car, in heavy traffic, 92 9kt when the car went into limp home, by the time I got to her, I started the car, and all was fine, so I disregarded it. Yesterday in heavy traffic, while I was driving it, limp home mode again. The ambient temp was reading 100f which was too high for the actual temp, which was about 80f. The A/C compressor shut down and turning the car off would not reset the TCS. I bypassed the safty valve { hooked the manifold line directly to the check valve} and that had no effect. I let the car cool down for about 5 min. and the TCS reset. Drove in traffic for about 10 min, and limp home again. Cooled down 5 more min. and reset OK. Got the car out of traffic, and all was well again, no more limp home. My question is, can high temp affect the TCS? I don't think the coolig fan is running, when I got home and shut the car off, the fan didn't run like it usually does. TIA Jim Kane
