The climate control in our 93 CSE Turbo 5-speed (163K) has developed a dislike for high outsside temperatures, just when you really need it. I traced the problem to the A/C compressor clutch. When hot, 12V applied is not quite enough to snap it engaged; it moves, but not enough. Resistance measured at about 10 ohms. Letting it cool a few minutes allows it to work again. Can this clutch be cleaned and lubed or does it need to be replaced? I tried brake cleaner, which helps for awhile, but hesitate to try any lubricants so close to the serpentine belt. Any advice???
